The 'Aqua d'Argento' gown features bronze paillettes that have oxidised beautifully over the course of half a century and were left over by a famous French couture house in the 1970’s and found in our embroider’s archive.

This tiny usable quantity was combined with antique silk velvet painted in gold, sunrise beads and Swarovski crystals to form leaves inspired by the gingko tree, in a colour scheme matching the client’s heirloom jewellery. Crepe lamé dress with hand-pleated Plissé Soleil Accordeon skirt.
